9th January 2010 Snow-kiting: The Grove-Felixstowe Wind Direction: Wind Stength: 10/20 Surf / Sea State: power Air Temperature: 0 Sea Temperature: Weather: blizzard Max Speed: Distance Covered: I know I did'nt give it much of a try but after risking life and limb getting out of our parking space and driving the mile to the park and then standing out in a blizzard for 4 hours watching Rob and his mates have a ball I thought it was worth a entry !!!! So after Rob making it look so easy he helped me launch the kite and strap me in his board,it was then things started to go wrong :( with the wind very gusty - well thats my excuse - and 3 face plants later having nearly wrapped the kite around a goalpost I thought I'd better give up and stick to windsurfing - remember that anyone ???
